The harmattan season is upon us and while it breaks my heart to be separated from my bed (and warm duvet) every morning, it certainly doesn’t help that my car is all white from the dusty love notes of the Sahara Desert. And bite me me if I’m going to pay any ‘mallam’ N500 on a daily to clean my car.
Enter my DIY alter ego. Mehn, like it or not, while I wait for my bath water to get hot, I pick up my bucket and a spare mop head (now dedicated to this purpose) and get to working. Washing my car every morning has saved me a lot of money and is a good work out strategy (for those mornings where I absolutely cannot exercise cos I hugged my duvet too long).
Okay, so I guess you get the point. Every now and then, you can take the car to a proper wash to clean your car (inside and all) but by jove, wash ya motor by yasef.
Okies, I’m done.
