DIY COLOR BLOCK METAL NECKLACE

I know that ‘color blocking’ is not as in vogue as it was in the last 3 years but I don’t care 🙂

So I got this metal necklace from the same flea market in Lagos Island where I got the materials for my DIY Seed Beads & Metal Necklace and my Filigree, Spray Paint and Bead Mix Necklace. It was kinda dull and I didn’t think spraying it with gold was a great idea the time. I wanted something more colourful, plus I was looking for a good excuse to open the new tubes of acrylic paint I had just bought….hehehe. Anyways, here’s a quick picture tutorial of what I did. It’s really quick and easy, I tell you.

I really like how it turned out. I made DIYed this in the night and wore it under my white collared shirt to work the next day. Remember my basket of compliments? It was full by the time I got home 🙂 ….Awesomeness!

I’ve been looking for acrylic paint in pastel colours. That would look really chic. Tell me, what colour combinations would you use?
